this is the only one in seattle open for business. they've been open since noon. a crowd started gathering here yesterday. it grew overnight and this morning. people waiting here in line about two and a half to three hours long to get in and get their chance to buy their first opportunity to legally purchase recreational marijuana in the state of washington. supplies are tight. prices are higher than you might expect. growers have not brought in their first big props. a lot of store owners have not gotten the licensing and inspection and permitting they need before they can open many of them. many have not made the contracts they need to make with growers and processers so they can get product to put in the display shelves and sell. those supply issues are expected to ease in coming months. everyone here is ecstatic for what people are calling a historic day in the city of seattle in the state of washington. >> we talked about the shortage, and it was expected to be in short supply. you mentioned maybe a couple of months before they get to a point where more produ
