meteorologist eric fisher of our boston station wbz is following the fast-moving storm. >> we've been talking about it for a couple of days, and now it's a storm. it's a quick moving one but impacting us right through the holiday, and it's changing plans, and we've seen that already. so moving up the east coast as we head through the morning, by the time we get toward 9:00 a.m. on wednesday, we're looking at heavy snow west of i-95. that will be stretching p to the suburbs outside of new york city. east of i-95 you've got heavy rainfall and wind. and, of course, it's sloppy and quite a bit of impact. heading into the evening, heavier snow from the philadelphia area, westchester county reaching up across connecticut into boston and new england. so by midnight toward the predawn hours the last of the snow will be exiting maine. we have winter storm warnings extending from maine right on down into north carolina. so a big portion of the east coast all impacted again. that's where the biggest snow totals are going to be. looking at a widespread 6 to 10, at times as much as 12 inches of sn
