standing by is chief meteorologist glenn "hurricane" schwartz with a lock at that. glenn? >> yeah, sheena, we look at different things in the wintertime than we do the rest of the year as far as telling how heavy snow is, for example. we have to look at the visibility. that tells us how heavy the snow is falling. the lower the visibility, the heavier the snow. if it's less than a mile, it's coming down at a pretty good clip. enough to accumulate. it is not less than a mile now. it's actually gone up in mt. poconos. so the snow is actually lighter now than it was 15 minutes ago. reading, and coatesville, just a little bit over a mile. that's still a steady snow. if it would do this for hours, it would accumulate. quakertown, 2 1/2 miles. other places like allentown, five-mile visibility, this snow is no factor at all. and, of course, it's not even snowing in the i-95 corridor. so that's why the visibilities are fine. but these are the things that we watch. not only hour by hour, but almost minute by minute because things can change pretty quickly. along with the temperature
