i'm justin finch "eyewitness news" on the cw philly meantime tonight we are getting a first look inside of the pakistani school where taliban gunmen mass derred 148 people mostly children. some of these schoolhouse walls are riddled with the bullet holes, some rooms blackened by flames. investigators say that the gunmen lit several teachers on fire. vigils and prayer services have been held across the country today and the government has declared a three day period of mourning. >>> well, this evening some supporters of all faiths gathered in center city philadelphia to mourn the victims of that school shooting in pakistan. a few dozen people gathered across from love park lighting candles and holding signs that condemned the attacks. >> and this is the time when it really hits hard, it's kind of attacked our hearts. >> school is a place that everyone is teaching humanity. the people are teaching how to live peacefully with each other. >> those demonstrators said the taliban does not speak for muses hims and that no religion condones the killing of innocents. >> a delaware county doctor

"eyewitness news" reporter justin finch talked exclusively to the homeownerrer. >> reporter: surveillance cam view an unwelcome thanksgiving guest a burglar breaking into this home on the 1200 block of rodman street while the homeowners were an hour away with loved ones. >> we got the text alert that the alarm was triggered. >> reporter: he says he called 911 right away but before police arrived he caught that crook creeping through his living room on his cell phone. all thanks to an app linked to his alarm and surveillance system. >> rolled the video back and actually saw the burglar in the house going up the stairs to the master bedroom. >> reporter: the burglar had only 30 seconds before the alarm began blaring so in about two minutes he barges in steals a dresser organizer and jewelry too. he left from a back door the same way he got in. the homeownerrer now realizes the crook may never have gotten in had he fully secured his back sliding door which leads to a fenced in sunken patio which abuts a parking lot. his neighbors now hoping someone who knows that burglar will help bust him.
