etihad airways flight 183 was stuck on the tarmac in abu dhabi for 12 hours this weekend.. because of heavy fog. the plane then took off... for the 16-hour nonstop trip to san francisco. the crew ran low on food and water. the passenger bill of rights that limits tarmac delays in the u.s. does not apply overseas. tonight: searchers believe they've spotted the tail section of the air-asia plane that crashed into the java sea 8 days ago. allen pizzey shows us: we're getting a look at what may be the last image ever from the flight: (selfie from plane) vo: twenty-three year old pendra gunawan syawal took what may have been the last photograph of flight 8501 before it took off. (wreckage) vo: less than an hour later.the plane disappeared.
