tease like allentown -- feels like allentown minus 10. we're seeing the coldest windchills to the south. reading minus 10. of poconos minus 2. philadelphia minus 2. satellite and radar we're crystal clear we'll see a lot of sunshine from start to finish, it's not going to help matters much. this is the same system that was over the rockies yesterday it has jumped the front range and moved into the central plain states. lots of rain in texas oklahoma, be, and kansas here. as this charges east it will encounters colder air and that rain will change over to snow. we'll watch and see what happens when it moves into the delaware valley. today is quiet. sunday there's a shield of moisture parallel to interstate 70. snow to the north rain to the south. the question is where does the rain/snow line set up. the rain snow line was down here, north of that line it was all snow. now, as we set it in motion, the milder air will work its way into the system. that means a lot more rain for the southern areas here. today is a quiet day 10:00 a.m. sunday

today's high in allentown 26 degrees and 2 do 3 inches of snow during the day today. what about today? we'll have rain mixing with snow at the shore. 36 degrees is the high at the shore. in philadelphia, a high around 32 degrees cloudy skies and light to moderate snow on and off about a one to three inch accumulation across the region. you can see we stay cold enough to accumulate the snow, the high in philadelphia is 32 degrees. the snowstorm will start to get closer to us. at 6:00 p.m. the snow is getting heavier. at night the heavier bands push off the ocean because of the heavy bands pushing off the ocean. notice how the heavier bands are closer to the east and the center of the storm and much less in philadelphia and less farther to the west. tomorrow at noon it will be pulling away us and drying out. tomorrow there's a bit of uncertainty. this is for philadelphia, very poor concensus, some models want to give us three others 9 1/2 inches of snow. if the storm intensifies soon enough looks like we could go anywhere from a foot to a foot and a half to the east and

warm spot but only 21 in allentown and reading. allentown, down to 2 this morning. they have come up quite a bit. the radar shows that precipitation is moving pretty quickly across pennsylvania. a fairly small area. definitely not a huge storm. little wintry mix in the pink and rain has the green color, but as this moves into the colder air that we're seeing plus night fall comes, most of the area would be seeing snow if you do get it. the whole trend is going to be for this thing to weaken and shrink and lift up. so that the greatest chance of any kind of accumulation will be north and west of philly and it would be generally between 6 and 9:00 tonight. and as you can see, up into the poconos, greater duration of the snow, so a little bit more can fall. this is a different computer model. this one had the most amount of snow of all the computer models. you can see it is really not a big one in any sense or has the potential for that. but that's less than half an inch in philadelphia wilmington. some, maybe an inch in pottstown. and up two two inches in the poconos.

you can see across the delaware valley, we have some snow in allentown. snow in reading and even some icy conditions as you move toward the south and toward the east. so changeable conditions depending on where you live. our "eyewitness weather" watchers are showing us a variety of weather. we have some ice, we have some snow. even a mix in south jersey gary is saying we have a wintry mix in warminster. the temperature is 32 degrees. take a look at some of these pictures that they're sending us us. phil says in germantown philadelphia the chestnut hill area snow falling there. we also have a little bit of an icy mix. delores is reporting in newark, delaware sleet on the sidewalk and the flower bed taken few moments ago and john says in philadelphia we have a little bit of a dusting of snow as of the 11:00 o'clock hour. so a variety of weather depending on where you live. all temperature depend. take a look at these numbers. right now in physical the temperature is thirty four degrees. we have 35 in allentown. 33 in wilmington and 34 in dover and in wildwo
