that wasn't written by chris kyle. it was written by two ghost writers for chris kyle who were credited on the book. i think chris kyle says things in the book that are probably not true. jesse ventura successfully sued chris kyle for saying things that weren't true, for example. let's pretend there is an available truth here. this movie departs from it wildly and what people are realizing in that is that clint eastwood and jason hall the screen writer couldn't find a good movie to make within the available truth of the story told in the book. so they had to change the so-called facts of the story in order to make it work as a movie. i appreciate that. that happens in movie script discussions all the time. they never from the start set out to make an accurate movie. they are very plain about that in the discussions they've had within the industry within industry publications and jason hall saying he wanted to make a western. sure clint eastwood wanted to make a western. that's the way they talk about movies. in the dev
