they have various lanes blocked from foster city boulevard to hayward. so basically both end of the span. that's scheduled to wrap up at 11 a.m. the bulk of the morning commute. in the commute direction, though, out of hayward the spot tends to slow. everything still looks okay to the peninsula. bay bridge, the roadwork we're hearing is wrapping up. so it was scheduled to shut down by 5:00. 4:51 just some slight delays in the cash lanes. and once you hit the span, even though the roadwork was there from the incline to the center anchorage blocking the left lane, it's not enough to cause a delay. you can still get into san francisco problem-free. really all the way down to sfo. it's looking good on 101 and you can see it's clear into san mateo. mass transit also looks great so far on this morning commute. bart systemwide on time. they got a great start with no trains delayed. golden gate bridge, caltrain and "ace" train 1 are on tyne. remember kcbs, our radio partner, when you hit the roads at 106.9 fm or 740-am. that's the latest. back to you guys. >>> t

we are talking about sky west golf course in hayward. that was his best option for an emergency landing. immediately near that area there are homes. david olsson is the pilot. he tells me exclusively he surveyed the fair way and saw that the tenth hole didn't have any people around. witnesses say his plane's wing clipped a tree before hitting the ground in an emergency landing. olsson had more than 15 years of experience in flying. he has had this single engine bulldog since 2000

i want to show you how traffic is leaving hayward. it's clear and dry leaving on westbound 92. 13 minutes between the east bay and the peninsula. bay bridge different story. they issued high wind advisories the chp issued them. so far no delay at the toll plaza. getting into san francisco one lane remains blocked at the fremont street exit into the city. not causing a backup so far. but, you know, just a little bit of an inconvenience. watch out for that. and caltrans crews should be cleared by 5:00. here's the rest of the sensors. we have been watching this accident since early, early this morning. shortly after midnight there was a fatal crash in fremont southbound 880 at thornton. they had clean-up sweeper crews out there. right now all lanes are back open. they just reopened lanes in the last half-hour so everything is clear there, 64 miles per hour as you head out of fremont into milpitas. this is what it looks like near the 237 interchange. and if you are a silicon valley driver, so far no delay out to sunnyvale, 101, peninsula.
