they januaryed levi staid -- they jammed levi stadium last night for wrestle mania 31. janine de la vega is joining us live until santa clara telling us about this record shattering event and this seen as a dry run for the super bowl. >> yeah it really was. levi stadium was packed. the previous attendance record here at levi's was around 71,000 people. well wrestle mania broke that record and nearly 77,000 people were here. this was basically the super bowl for wwe with the main event being held on sunday. the money that was generated here was no joke. this was wwe's highest grossing event ever bringing in $12.3 million. and for the south bay economy it's estimated that $100 million in revenue was made. hotels and restaurants profited from this event which is really a preview for what is to come for next february when super bowl 50 is played at levi stadium. operators here definitely watching how traffic flowed, how fans navigated through the stadium and if everything went well we would be checking in with them. fans mostly had positive things to say. traffic though was

levi tells me the growth rate is slowing because box is a bigger, more mature company. he urges investors to concentrate on other metrics such as the growing number of box clients signing $100,000 contracts. box down hard today, still up about 25% since the ipo. the company is moving past just on-line storage where it has to compete with tech giants like microsoft and google. instead, the company is concentrating on offering products tailored for specific industries such as health care. when i asked levi about whether box could get back to growing at a 50s% clip he sounded a note of optimism saying there are a lot of tailwinds in this business. back to you. >> interesting story, for the first one. thanks a lot. let's talk about this. i mean, not the way you want to come out gate? >> rough break on the math certainly. 28 million share count the street using, when they should have been using 20 million apparently. it's the 30% revenue growth rate the more interesting thing here. there could be a siller lightning here. we don't understand how marketing spend fuels revenue.

it was a huge success here at levi stadium. not only for the stadium, but also for surrounding businesses. i was on the phone with the hillton and the hyatt. both were sold over the weekend. they even held a tailgate party to capitalize on the visitors coming here. wrestle mania is the super bowl for wwe and it shattered records. it was the highest grossing event for wwe and broke the attendance record at levi stadium. attracting more than 77,000 fans. the stadium was packed and traffic around it was congested. even with people using public transportation and coming several hours early. 49ers management is reviewing how things went because it's really a good opportunity for them to learn to improve traffic flow, visitor experience, and parking for super bowl 50 which will be held at levi stadium next february. the south bay will see a huge boost to the economy then and it did this time around. it's estimated the south bay raked in $100 million in revenue. again. so a huge event wrestle mania as you heard happening over the week

this weekend's wrestle mania was a big test for organizers at levi stadium. nearly 77,000 people attended the event on sunday which is levi's biggest crowd ever. that is about how many people are expected for super bowl 50 at levi's next february. not only was the stadium busy but restaurants and hotels were almost full to capacity. >> the number of people coming into wrestle mania which is pretty equivalent to the number of people expected for the super bowl. >> they will look at the flow in and out of the stadium, how well the concessions were stocked. the stadium also plans to ask for e-mail feedback from fans about how the wrestle mania event went. >>> marin county supervisors will hear from the public about lowering the speed limit for bicycles. the speed limit is currently 15 miles an hour but many walkers say cyclists going that fast or faster create a safety hazard. last week the board of supervisors tentatively approved dropping the speed limit to 10 miles an hour along a section of the path. now they are considering expanding the lower speed area. s
