the allentown fire department detected high levels of the gas at the episcopal house last night. they found the cause to be a broken boiler in the basement. everyone on the first 11 floors had to get out of the building. some residents waited for the all clear on an air conditioned bus. other went to a temporary shelter a few blocks away. two people did fall ill because of the co2 but there conditions are not serious. >>> a five-year-old girl thrilled to be home this morning. she barely escaped a hit and run on sunday.
