news 4's bruce beck is following m today's events. bruce? >> david and shiba, the deflategate battle wag on, and there's still no sign of a resolution. today u.s. district court judge richard berman ordered tom brady and roger goodell back in court august 31st if no settlement is reached. today in court there was no sign of brady or goodell but representatives on hand for a hearing. judge berman continues to urge both parties to reach an agreement in brady's appeal of his four-game suspension for his role in deflategate. the two sides met last night in manhattan, but settlement talks reportedly went nowhere. both parties have asked judge berman to make a ruling by september 4th, but the judge th ks that would be a quick turnaround for him. the patriots' season opener is september 10th in foxborough. meanwhile, brady was back on the practice field with his teammates today, and according to an espn report, brady is now willing to accept some form of punishment, but only for the coverup, not the crime. meaning simply, he won't admit to deflatin
