let's go over to katherine scott outside of south detectives, katherine you imagine police standing there watching this. >> reporter: yeah, well they were trying to get the suspect, of course so far he is on the loose, police did find and identification card a prison inmate identification card in that vehicle, so police believe they know who they are looking for. all four victims were taken to south detectives to be interviewed. let's go to the video of the scene on camack street in south philadelphia where the suspect's mustang crashed into two parked vehicles. it happened at 12:30, that's when it all started. police pulled over a black mustang that was running stop signs and driving erratically. initially the mustang stopped. as the police approached the driver sped off. the mustang went several blocks before crashing into two parked cars, the officers witnessed the crash. the driver ran out and got in the to the nearest car he saw, that was a nissan. there were four people inside, he committed a carjacking in front of the police, the front-seat passenger got out to help the driver, the

let's go on over to "action news" reporter katherine scott. she's live at the scene in the 700 block of townsend place. katherine, what's the latest? >> reporter: well, tam, that's right, police are trying to figure out what exactly happened here but we do know a 10-year-old boy was rushed to the hospital in serious condition after being shot here this morning and you can see police remain on the scene here in wilmington gathering evidence. the crime scene unit is on the scene. they're waiting for a search warrant to get inside the home. this happened just before 2:00 a.m. on the 700 block of townsend place. when police arrived they found the child with a gunshot wound his head. he was rushed to ai dupont hospital in serious condition. police didn't immediately recover a weapon but again they are waiting on search warrant. they also have not made any arrests in this case. what exactly happened here remains under investigation but of course we'll bring you updates as we get them. we are live in wilmington, katherine scott, channel6 "action news

"action news" reporter katherine scott is live at the scene at tulip and huntingdon streets. how are things going, katherine? >> reporter: well, they're still at work here, matt. this is a massive sinkhole and, you know, i don't know how you get to work in the morning, everybody, but if you take this route, you want to take a different one this morning because there's a lot of work to do here. if you take a look here at huntingdon and tulip you can see there's a big hole in the street. it opened yesterday afternoon here in kensington and crews from the philadelphia gas works and the water department have been on the scene. the fire department was called around 3 o'clock for a water main break at tulip and huntingdon. that's when they discovered the sinkhole and it kept getting bigger. pgw is here because they have a gas line that's beneath the road. pgw says their service had not been disrupted. crews have been working to get this fixed but we don't know when these repairs will be finished. obviously traffic can't get through this intersection so you do want to take a differe
