the jury came back hung on all counts for me and rod was hung on all counts but one. we listened to the news for the first time. i had a media ban for an hour and a half because i could not allow myself to be brought down by negative thoughts. i made sure every day before trial i got up at 5:30, ran and worked out because i thought it gave me the mental edge over the prosecutors and anything you can do to gain the edge i try to do. we listen to this juror who looked like he was 20 years old talking about the verdict saying it was 11-1 in favor of guilt. we were shocked. needless to say, we spent a very sleepless night. the next morning, i called mike and what went wrong and what are we doing to fix this? is he going to fire me? i said no, no. the jury came back 9-3 in terms of acquittal for me. the odds, as i explained, are completely against the defendant. if you are the average guy, if you can afford to pay for good counsel, even if you are innocent, and even can show innocence on the stand doesn't mean you will be acquitted because the government has every advantag

of course a-rod they announce his name and everybody stood up. i couldn't really see. so i looked to my left. almost as if, you know, when even stood up and started yelling and cheering or yelling, i looked over and i see this man -- i wasn't even believing it was a person as he was tumbling. it was surreal that he was tumbling head over feet and crashed into the ground and everybody in the section that was next to where we were just stood up in horror. and everybody just kept standing there like -- and the rest of the game kept going on and everybody kept waiting for somebody to show up to help him. if you saw the fall, you would know that that person would never have any chance to make it because it was just too high and his body came down so fast. the paramedics did what they could and then they took him away on the orange boards. and the whole section that was there that i believe the coaches's and player's families, they were evacuated from that section. that's what i saw. >> so initial reports that were the game kept going, everyone really kept going about their
