doylestown, 74. 76 in wilmington. not much rain, if any, in parts of new jersey and they're still in the mid 80s. even 85 degrees in beach haven. the showers continue to move through the area, not as strong actually as it was an hour ago. we are seeing some improvement in central and southern delaware so that's a good thing. burks county has really gotten hit hard, a whole lot of rain there, some more in the lehigh valley. this is coming through chester county from south to north. coatesville, west chester about to get nailed with heavy rain and here's that band of heavy rain coming right into wilmington, crossing i-95 right now. there's more back to the west. this line comes through, that's the cold front. behind that, there is lower humidity so we have to wait for that to come through until that happens. so this first batch weakened somewhat waiting for the second one to come through later this evening. it may appear to weaken a little bit at times but our computer models are certainly suggesting that it's going to

temperatures in wilmington at 61. a closer look at the 24-hour temperature change map, it's a colder start throughout most of the area today. ranging between 3 to 5 degrees cooler today than saturday morning. our satellite radar shot shows a few clouds starting to move in from the west, but staying mainly dry throughout the day. the next chance of showers will move in from the west. this system off the coast will stay far enough away so it won't cause us problems. monday at 6:00 p.m. a few scattered showers for western suburbs, west of philadelphia. then another round closer to the shore stretching down to the central and southern parts of delaware. most of these showers should clear out by the time you head to work. here's an update on tropical storm danny. no longer a hurricane. wind speeds down to 50 miles per hour. moving to the west at 15 miles per hour. it's going to take a while before any of these remnants of this tropical storm head towards the caribbean and the leeward islands. as far as today is concerned,

wilmington 73. trenton 73. sea isle city currently 75 degrees. satellite 6 along with action radar showing you can see the heavy rain to west virginia and virginia. it is intensifying as it moves closer. it will get picked up what is known as the lower level jet. the ribbon of air about 5,000 feet in the atmosphere. what this does, it adds moisture and creates more lift. that can really support the thunderstorms. around 5:00 you can see some of the thunderstorms moving in. at 8:00, intensifying right over philadelphia. we get a bit of the break in the action midday before a cold front moves in. this brings us another round. it looks like it will be more scattered in variety. it could have gusty winds as it moves through. really, two key times between 2:00 in the morning and 8:00 in the morning. this is when we get the solid line of heavy downpours with thunderstorms. may wake some people up when you hear the rumble of thunder, clap of lightning. between 1:00 and 7:00 in the afternoon, the head of the cold front more scattered thunderstorms. these

in trenton, millville and wilmington, 90. allentown not quite that warm, 86 and avalon with that sea breeze really a lot cooler at the shore with a high -- a current temperature i should say of 80 degrees but dewpoints show that at the shore although it's a lot cooler it's also a lot more humid, dewpoints right along the beach with that ocean influence in the 70's. inland in philadelphia dewpoint not too bad 58 degrees. most of the region in the low 60's and that's slightly humid. so the humidity is up from over the weekend but it's really not oppressive. now, satellite6 along with action radar show what i'm tracking is a cold front across the great lakes. ahead of it we have some clouds and some spotty showers. doesn't like like we'll see a lot of activity and tonight though can't rule out the possibility of an isolated thunderstorm in spots. elsewhere though just partly cloudy, a warm night 68 degrees and cooler suburbs 75 degrees for center city and future tracker showing tomorrow morning at 9:30 temperatures already in th
