that is southern new hampshire from portsmouth on up to southern maine. you're seeing a couple of showers through concord also back through keene. then out towards western mass it's very hit or miss. scattered at best. and some of this is going to move across the state. it's generally moving from west to east associated with this upper-level low but notice a couple of these showers down here seem to be holding together okay. so if they were, we'll see another batch come through over the next couple of hours. that's what future cast is kind of indicating. actually holding showers at about 8:00, bringing them through even boston, say, about 10:00. and then exiting our region by lunchtime. notice what happens to those clouds. they start to thin out. so we should see some breaks of sunshine by afternoon, although we can't rule out one or two showers. in the afternoon hours though, i think it's really southern new hampshire and southern vermont i'm really seeing those showers. they're very light in nature only picking up 2/100ths of an inch of rain in orange.
