anks britley. a well-known cedar rapids businessman won't leaea his j jl sentence until later this month. a federal judge had planned to announce the sentencing for midamar founder bill aossey yesterday.... but testimony and arguments at led the judge to postpone aossey 's sentencing. last july, a jury convicted him of mislabeling meat products, mail and wire fraud, and making false statements. a number of aossey's supporters are asking the judge to for leniency.
