i'm going to talk about the wilmington 10 tonight, and i've generally found that the wilmington ten is something that is dimly remembered. it's more remembered in my state of north carolina, my adopted state of north carolina, but frequently it gets confused with the 1898 race riot in wilmington which was a coup against a black elected legally black elected government in 1898. so it's not that well remembered by the wilmington ten in its time, and for our time, was a monumental case of political repression. very similar to other examples of egregious injustices such as the murder of chicago black panther leader fred hampton by the chicago police with the assistance of the federal bureau of investigation. the legal frame up of angela davis and the attica prison rebellion, with just a bit more thought i think i could offer several other examples but that would take up more of my time and not allow me to get to the point of want to do. in the case of the wilmington ten the full force of the legal system hammered nine young black men in their teens or early '20s and a white woman in her 30

here's an example of wilmington delaware route 13 down south of wilmington. that change over has already occurred so we're dealing with just a timing scenario whereas roll through morning rush hour the wet roads will become snow covered. obviously crews are out here. here's i-95 right here inner 420 as you can see starting to see that snow stick to the road surface on the far left or far right side but again crews put do that layer of salt but that just because we don't see the snow sticking to the road surface doesn't mean it will not be slippery. here's an example of that one lane pattern on the schuylkill expressway now. hopefully we will start to get volume, tires churn that salt put down by penndot, new jersey dot and dell dot and that keeps the road wet but passable. but that is major roadways. your secondary road, side streets, remember any of that, those secondary roads that still have that pack down snow left over from last week that will be just ice underneath that little snow covering. live look at the vine street expressway, ben franklin bridge, s
