"action news" reporter katherine scott is live at the scene, the 1300 block of edgemont. good morning, katherine. >> reporter: good morning, tam. and since we last spoke, the hotel guests have been allowed back up to their rooms and a lot of fire trucks have left but now that the equipment has cleared away from here you can get a better idea of the damage of the grape leaves diner here in chester. you can see there's a hole in the roof and a lot of repairs will need to be made. this is called the grape leaves diana rocco, it's formally the sunrise diner. we're told it opened up recently here on the 1300 block of edgemont in chester. it's right near widener university. this fire broke out around 3 a.m. when fire crews arrived they saw flames on the exterior of the diner and they soon realized it was up in the roof area. at that point the day's inn which is right next door had not been evacuated but once the chief saw that there was smoke going into the hotel, he made the call to evacua

the chester police station jail cells to assault female prisoners being booked into jail. now that seven year vet is behind bars himself. officer turner is accused of victimizing three female detainees from april to august of last year. according to the arrest affidavit he asked his victims to show him naked pictures of themselves forked them to show their genitals and at one point putting on condom it all happened out of the view of surveillance cameras in the jail cells of the chester police department. turner spent most of his time as a patrol officer so investigators want to know if there may be more victims out there. >> we would not be surprised based on this type of duct there may be additional victims out there that were processed during this relevant time
