there's showers moving in to parts of new jersey. let's look at the temperature in central park. 51, we have a light wind and high humidity. we can see areas of fog. eventually when the sun returns, a high near 70 this afternoon, way, way above normal for this time of the year. 75 was the record back in 1963. a few showers through early this afternoon, then the sun does try to make a reappearance, and will that will get our temperature near 70. it turns cooler tonight into the weekend, but above average 51 now at laguardia airport. 48 in newark. 59, that's a sign of things to come in toms river. the warmer air is trying to work into the city by around midday. visibilities down near half a mile in monticello. you can see the coloring on the map, indicating from the city and points north and west, visibilities are not perfect. we have patchy fog out there. and a couple of showers developing, one sprinkle out of sandy hook, new jersey. another batch of rain over western new jersey. pretty rapidly moving its way to the east. it will be h
