so south 680 jammed up out of pleasanton this morning. we are seeing all kinds of red here so speeds under 25 miles per hour but again, that's your only choice or mission if you want to use -- instead of niles canyon as an alternate. no "ace" train service today because of the derailment. other mass transit is on time. altamont pass delays on the westbound 580 busy as you work your way out of tracy. gets a little better to the top of the pass towards 680. now, on the flip side, eastbound 580 it is the noncommute direction at grant line but we have word of a fatal accident there. a vehicle rolled down the embankment. they have shut down the right lane to retrieve the vehicle so you will see slight delays eastbound on 580. westbound dixon avenue two lanes being cleared after an accident trying to get things to the right. that should especially in the next 10 minutes. we are seeing some big delays across the eastshore freeway. southbound southbound 880 stacked up. an earlier accident slowed things down. backed up well beyond 238 into hayward

this is near pleasanton. it is at sunol boulevard. it's to be aware of. it's in the right-hand lane. another crash coming into the traffic center now. northbound 101 is at the highway 116. this is also involving a semi truck this morning. that semi truck is off on the side of the vehicle. another vehicle is in the center divide of the road. no major delays at that point because of this crash. just more so something to be mindful of as we drive on the road this morning. another one involving a semi this one on 580 westbound take a look at some of the reds and yellows on the roads. really building up 580 from the altamont pass to i-680 right now about an 18-minute drive. so you will want to give yourself a few extra minutes as you headed out the door. that crash is on the shoulder of the road. it's blocking the shoulder. it's not blocking any main lanes there, however. all right. if you are skipping the car altogether you want to take mass transit, good news there. we are seeing no delays out there for bart, "ace" train, caltrain. things are looking great.
