raleigh police released its preliminary report. in it investigators say there was a struggle between akiel denkins and officer twiddy before the shooting. the report also showed just how many times twiddy shot denkins. >> the report found the gun denkins had was reported stolen back in january. >> emma wright has been working on this story all week long. >> the raleigh police department did release the preliminary report yesterday. in that report they say that denkins and twiddy for you to before the shooting. they say that denkins tried to grown at twiddy's gun and that's when the officer shot him. shot as he tried to arrest him for a felony drug charge. police say den ken rain from twiddy and that's when the struggle began. he reached for the weapon and that's when he fired the first shots. police say the shots didn't stop denkins and that's when he shot him. >> we're still asking for people to come forward who -- whether they have a video, we currently do not have in our possession a video of what happened. certainly if there's
