i also taught in san diego. and savvy san diego and it is a bilingual school. i had a great issue with bilingual schools because what happens is a cultural ghetto is created in these children are not repaired to go into a multicultural world. and then when i would go into the classrooms, i would see teachers sitting at a computer and then i was given classes and i would find that you had to be creative. and you had to be creative in writing and right even to politicians and the parents were proud of it a response. i found that this is creative and the lack of professionalism among teachers. that is. >> okay, we're going to have to leave it there. cultural ghetto because of bilingual education. >> i respectfully disagree. i think that what i am describing is unlike most of the teachers it is not standing up there walking around as it showed. instead she is describing that teaching and i have seen a marvelous process all across the united states. and since she comes from new york, i have seen part of the year just sitting in bilingual kindergarten and first grade
