no big issues heading up to the john belk and brookshire this morning. john? this morning, tonight a local group fighting the toll lane project on i-77 will share its research on private toll road projects across the country. eyewitness news reporter joe bruno is live along i-77 in cornelius. joe? >> reporter: right now the head of the ncdot is reevaluating the toll lanes being built after the governor sent him to texas to find out why a similar project failed. it could be weeks until we fiend out what ncdot secretary found out. but tonight, the group fighting the project will give an evaluation of it. widen i-77 aholding a news conference to discuss -- is holding a news conference to discuss bankruptcy and failures. struck a deal with the i-77 mobility partners to pay up to $12 million per year if the project isn't making enough money. i also obtained report that shows the developers expecting to make $5.1 million in 2018 when the project opens. in 2019, that number jumps to $24.6 million. and in 2020 it goes even higher. $34.5million. toll critics say it wil
