nbc 10's matt delucia is live in houston. people there seem to be celebrating early. >> reporter: early celebration. hopefully more celebrating will come later on tonight and tomorrow morning. right here you just mentioned nrg stadium which is where practice was held yesterday. it's quiet out here right now but later on this place will be bustling. just over 12 hours to go until tip-off. players and fans are getting much needed rest right now. last night was busy. a pregame party at some local bars in houston. this was for the fans. alumni and current students who traveled from near and far to be here this weekend. we stopped by where a watch party will be held in houston for those not lucky enough to get tickets. fans follow the team closely no matter what is going on around them. >> i was at a wedding last weekend and i didn't spend much time focusing on that wedding. i was sitting there on my phone watching the game. i just blew up after that. i was going nuts. nobody knew what was going on why i was screaming. >> reporter
