i'm so happy to be here in the studio nice and safe with you, rosemary. for this upcoming weekend we have a lot to talk about, because we do have really nice conditions for today. a hot and humid day in the forecast for today, but a major change on the approach by tomorrow evening into monday. so memorial day looks like it's going to be a washout. i'll discuss that and more in my extended forecast. otherwise a live look outside. conditions are dry right now, and it looks like just a few clouds pushing through. a high pressure system sitting right over north carolina is going to keep conditions really nice, at least through tomorrow. now, right now we're seeing lots of 60s, mid to upper 60s across the area. and the day pans out rather nicely. lots of upper 80s, perhaps a few mid 90s, but conditions will not be that comfortable as far as humidity goes. dew points are on the rise. we are seeing upper 60s to mid 70s. another concern for today to be mindful of, we do have an air quality issue. ozone right now. if you do suffer from asthma, it's something to be

. >> and i'm rosemary church. we are following breaking news on missing egyptair flight 804. >> greek and egyptian rescue crews right now are searching the southern mediterranean by air and by sea for an egyptair plane that disappeared from radar. that airbus a-320 was carrying 66 people from paris to cairo. the airline says last contact with the jetliner was 280 kilometers or 175 miles off the egyptian coast. that's about halfway between greece and egypt. >> egyptian aviation officials tell reuters they believe the plane probably crashed into the sea. egyptair says there was a distress signal nearly two hours after last contact. that timeline is a little murky. we're not completely sure of it. we believe that could mean a distress signal from the plane's emergency beacons. but again we don't know that either. >> there are wipdespread implications to this single flight. we've learned the nationalities of the passengers on board. egy egypt -- you see the list includes passengers from britain, chad, portugal, algeri

i'm rosemary connors. it's just about 6:00 on this sunday. happy mother's day. meteorologist karen thomas is tracking the improving conditions in our neighborhood weather. karen, we really started to see a little bit of break in that wet weather yesterday afternoon. >> yes, indeed. we do have some scattered showers, isolated showers moving through the area this morning. again, we're expecting a nice sunny break later on this afternoon. so we just have to deal with the pesky clouds and scattered isolated showers this morning. and then for a great mother's day later on, we'll bring some sunshine in for mom. right now, temperatures mainly in the 50s. a little cooler out here in the suburb as the 48 degrees. we put cloudy in here simply because we do still have clouds. we have isolated showers happening. 53 with peeks of sunshine. there for a high today though, we're looking to get to about 70 degrees in philadelphia. 66 out in the suburbs. close to 70 in new jersey. we're looking for about 67 at the jersey shore. looking good on the boardwalk. lehigh valley, of 66.

let's bring in rosemary orozco. we saw some flags whipping in the wind in downtown san francisco. >> yes, offshore wind and the heat is on because of it. giving you a view here at mostly blue skies over the bay, mount diablo there. a bit warm, maybe even uncomfortable. we'll take a look at the afternoon highs in just a bit. take a look at storm tracker 2. this is a ridge of high pressure over the pacific that is, again, helping to warm us up. notice the system here off to the east of us. we are sort of right where we are actually, right in between the two is what i want to say. because of it, we have the north and northeast breeze in play today. inland picking up a little pit much bit of patchy fog. take a look at the temperature change. tells a lot. 18 degrees warmer right now, 24 hours to go. 9 degrees for the east bay shore line and you go into the inner east bay, areas like livermore, you are 11 degrees warmer. notable changes going on for the afternoon in the way of the heat. livermore, mid-80-n concord. 85 in

rosemary connors was in the courtroom and is live with more from today's hearing. rosemary, we were waiting to see if cosby's accuser would take the stand, but she was not in the courtroom. >> reporter: that's right. she did not take the stand today. in fact, she did not really have to. it was not necessary for this kind of preliminary hearing. it was enough for the prosecution to present her previous statements to police as evidence. we expect her to testify at trial, though, and on that note, we have a preview from the defense how they will try to attack and tear apart her story. the only witnesses to take the stand were the detectives and police chief who interviewed andrea and bill after she reported the alleged incident. on cross-examination, the defense raced questions about questions about possible inconsistencies to the statement to police. for example, the defense complasaid she gave different dates, saying she only visited his home for business reason, and she did not have anymore contact with him. the prosecution focused on the comedian's action after th

i'm rosemary church. >> good to be with you, rosemary. i'm errol barnett. thanks for joining us. our two-hour block of "cnn newsroom" starts now. >>> a new national poll shows donald trump and hillary clinton in a statistical dead heat in the presidential race. take a look at this. an nbc news/"wall street journal" survey, clinton stands at 46% to trump's 43%. that is within the margin of error. but in a washington post/abc news poll, trump came out on top with 46% to hillary's 44%. >> trump may be the presumptive nominee, but washington state's republican convention awarded 40 out of 41 delegates to former candidate ted cruz even though he's no longer in the race. but the move is unlikely to be a game-changer since delegates are bound by the results of tuesday's primary in washington state. >> meanwhile, clinton says she will not debate democratic rival bernie sanders in california. that's ahead of the state's primary in june. sanders says he's disappointed but not surprised. >> cnn's senior washington correspondent jeff zeleny is in los angeles with the latest. >> reporter: hil
