meteorologist melissa magee in for cecily tynan live outside with more. hi, melissa. >> hi, monica. it's delightful at this hour across much of the delaware and lehigh valleys. a bit of a breeze kicking in at this hour. check out the high so far across much of the midatlantic region. new york city 76, 84 so far today in philadelphia. 73, though, in richmond, virginia and here's the reason why. it is cooler to our south. as we look at satellite6 along with action radar you can see we had a couple of showers earlier today across south jersey and delaware. now, those are dipping down across areas in the virginias. for our region it's mostly clear, it is quiet and we are drying out. so, if you're out on the town here on this friday, 7:00 p.m. that temperature 80, partly sunny and dry at 8 o'clock, mostly clear at 9 p.m. and a temperature of 71 in the upper 60's on the way at 10:00 and 11 o'clock tonight. we'll talk about what's ahead. we've got a stellar weekend on the way. low humidity as well. and a brief heatup on the way as we get into next week for the official start of summer. we'
