a warning is in effect in new jersey, allentown, new jersey, seeing heavy rainfall. the severe thunderstorm warning in effect this morning. nickel sized hail is possible with this storm. this storm is on the move. it's moving to the east at about 35 miles an hour which would put it in jackson, new jersey, just before 7:00 this morning at 6:52. we're watching this storm this morning to start with. another line of showers coming in from the northwest, this is not as impriessive as it was earlier. there's still heavy downpours in western berks county and the threat of more storms will be with us this afternoon. cloudy skies in philadelphia. 75 degrees. we'll see some breaks of sunshine. that will heat things up and that's fuel for more storms this afternoon. not as hot as yesterday. but not as funny either. definitely with occasional showers and thunderstorms and heavy downpours, especially in delaware and south jersey, even at the shore for this afternoon and this evening. we'll go through the futurecast hour by hour to show you the thunderstorm development for this af
