a summer program is coming to wilmington where it's needed more than ever. delaware bureau reporter tim furlong has the story. >> reporter: you see these kids here at the pulaski school? these are kids who will spend their summer days in a safe place with good role models. after years away they found funding and once again will have a presence in two wilmington neighborhoods that could use a safe haven for kids. the boys and girls clubs got her sons on a great path. they both now have college degrees and good jobs. after 2010 she saw how the violence skyrocketed when that club went away. in 2010 the club at jackson street shut its doors. the building needs a ton of work. there's hope it will some day reopen. money is growing tight. around christmas time you have vandals that stole heating and air conditioning unit. today leaders announced they hope to curb the violence. >> when there's nothing to do, it's dangerous. they can get into anything. that's where the shootings and killings are coming from. >> reporter: arts and crafts, field trips, robotics, keepin
