fox6s rachelle baillon is live at the caledonia police department with more. good evening. on three separate occasions these thieves got away with a combined 1,300 gallons of premium gasoline. and authorities are still trying to figure out thieves have been pulling into this caledonia b-p and ripping off thousands of dollars worth of premium gasoline. 'we found in the camera these three days.' police say on july 25th, 27th and august 3rd, thieves made off with more than 1,300 gallons of gas. the stations owner, joy peter, shared the surveillance video with us. you can see the same red chevy van pull up to the pump each time. peter says he monitors how much gas the station sells and noticed the numbers didnt match with how much gas had been pumped out. he spotted the thieves on his surveillance camera footage. he says in each instance, theyre on the property at least half an hour, taking around 400 gallons each visit. authorities think the suspects have large holding tanks or 55-gallon drums in the van that theyre filling up. 'we lost almost around 4,000 dollars.' police say

'i want to there if you know who done this to my son bennie bennett please come forward.' bennett was one of two victims killed on 36th street around 3:30 tuesday morning. fox6 has learned that the other victim was 44-year-old billie hill. bennetts family didnt recognize hills name, but police think the two deaths are related and occurred at the guy he loved everybody he helped everybody he know thats what his mom love to do i love to help everybody so bennie was like me.' bennetts mother says she will search for her sons killer, until that killer pays for this crime. police say they are still searching for one or more suspects. fox6's rachelle baillon joins us from the newsroom now with dramatic audio of the fatal confrontation. good evening. the washington the officer will not face charges for the july first incident. authorities are also releasing crime- scene photographs, dash cam video and audio from that day. police rush to the jackson home of a woman whose boyfriend was threatening to kill her on july first. the woman had managed to call police from an office in the home, before the man came at her with a knife. he's still the wisconsin d-c-i case report says police found the man, 58-year-old helmut wihowski, holding a knife to the woman's upper chest while cornering her in a shower stall. dash cam audio captured what happened next. the d-c-i report says the woman told authorities she would have died if wihowski. authorities attempted life-saving measures on wihowski, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. if you'd like to learn more about this case, we've made it easy to access the case files. just check out fox six now dot com for more information. reporting in the newsroom tonight, rachelle weathe

reporting tonight in south milwaukee, rachelle baillon fox6 news. kenosha police find a car sinking into a pond early this morning. stolen from a home in pleasant prairie. a semi delivery driver reported seeing the s-u-v nearly submerged in the pond near 76th and green bay road in kenosha. it took about two hours for rescue crews to pull the suv out of the pond - they say no one was inside when it went in the water. hazmat crews were also called to deal with fuel leaking from the suv. "it looks as if the vehicle had not only a large amount of fuel in the tank but probably had some spare gas tanks within it, unfortunately that leaked out well as the dnr were notified of the spill. fire officials hope to have the pond cleaned up before it rains...to prevent further contamination. an entire building of businesses raided! we were there near 55th and florist when that happened . it was hours of federal officials removing boxes of evidence. now fox6 obtained the federal paperwork that tells much more. myra sanchick has the new information. court, the alle

"there were just a tremendous number of accidents as a result of people who ended up basically texting and driving or talking and driving." state representative frederick kessler sponsored legislation that will soon go into effect: starting october first, drivers can't be talking, texting, navigating--or pretty much anything they're in a construction work area. "you're placing yourself in great danger and you're placing workers and other drivers in substantial danger." you can use the phone to report an emergency. hands-free phone use is also allowed. to get drivers moving in the right direction, expect to be subtly reminded of the new rule during the next several weeks. 'there was something very pure and authentic about him that people just wanted to be around him and they wanted that sort of radiated from inside out.' matthew manning became friends with thompson while both were working in odonnell hall on campus. the university tells us thompson attended the school from the fall of 2006 until the spring of 2008. manning says thompson then transferred to concordia university in california. he graduated in 2010 and joined the army in march 2011.
