>> samantha: we get a new drought monitor every thursday morning at 9:00. into that drought monitor stops on tuesday. so it's being processed late tuesday into wednesday. that is, well, when we've seen all of our rain. per the latest drought monitor, we actually still have a the lot of areas under moderate drought and even some out to the west, places like mansfield and portions of huron and erie counties and cuyahoga and lake counties in a severe drought, so we needed the rain. keep in mind that information is as of tuesday. we'll get a new drought next thursday. so we'll have a better idea as to how our drought has evolved in the coming days. you know, i think it's obviously going to show signs of improvement over the last few days since tuesday we've seen over an inch and a half of rainfall in cleveland. not quite an inch in mansfield, akron/canton, but definitely enough to wet the whistle and almost an inch and a half in downstown. the good news is these chances of areas that still need it, we have a chance every day all the way through the end of next
