may pop 90 in sebring. 89 in wauchula and 89 out in bartow. here is the set-up. all this tropical moisture pulling off in the northeast gulf. as we head throughout next few days, there is a chance we develop some kind 20% chance in the next two days. a 30% chance in the next five days and you can kind of see that spin here. futurecast picking up by monday, tuesday. if we do develop something and it just sits there. it just pulls that moisture right on in to the nature co coast, the big bend, and some the computer models showing quite a bit of rain potential in that area. in fact here is one computer model showing near the coast amounts easily approaching 11, 12 inches. where is that bulls eye going to set up. will it make its way on shore. that remains a bit uncertain, but certainly heavy rain amounts and flood potential is there through the early portions of the week. we see the showers working on shore, making their way to 75 and dissipating a bit once we get east of 75. 86 for the high. the showers heaviest at the heaviest at coast tonight. warm and steamy and

with that humidity, 76 right now in sebring. 77 in lakeland. 77 in brooksville. 77 in venice. and during the day, an east to southeast wind and that's pulling in the extra moisture off the atlantic. so again, a couple showers before lunchtime. not even out of the question. from places like polk county and highlands county in the early afternoon and make their way toward the coast, good coverage around 4:00, 5:00 before things taper off after 6:00. and then the eyes turn to the tropical depression nine because today not much of an impact on us. in fact, not that much tomorrow. a gradual increase in moisture means a higher rain chance for tomorrow but notice that the system by tomorrow moving away from us into the central gulf of mexico and strengthening to a tropical storm. 40miles per hour winds by tomorrow afoo in an upper-level trough which is going to take a hard right turn and going toward the northern and eastern portion of the gulf of mexico by thursday morning. look what a difference between tuesday and thursday. so look at the threat cone. this cone of uncertainty. any

upper 70s in new port richey. 82 in sebring currently. mid 70s in north port. a lot of moisture on the eastern side. probably flooding. a lot of rain in cuba. the western part of cuba. it doesn't always take much. you just need con consistent rain. the gulf of mexico is trying to control the flow. still a tropical depression. 35 miles an hour winds. that is thursday at 2:00 p.m. forecast to potentially come on time later thursday. but keep in mind with the counterclock wise rotation as we learn with colin. even a goodies tans away, we can see very high tides thursday afternoon. could be coastal flooding as well as some flooding from rain as well. so watch for that in the afternoon hours as that southwesterly wind will be strong and occasional showers that will pass across the area. there's a look at the enhanced the wind shear and the drier air in place. one estimate from one computer model talks about the entire event. four to five inches of rain possible. that seems fairly realistic. especially closer to the coastal areas. there's the center of low pressure f

so places like sebring down towards lake placid. probably next hour, maybe hour and a half, you're going to see storms rolling through that area. now right now temperatures still warming up quite a bit over in brandon currently at 91 degrees. here in tampa, 90. bradenton 91 degrees. you head down to venice currently 90. brooksville currently sitting a 87. that high pressure which has been sitting to our north giving good easterly flow across the state, that's going to start to shift a bit further to the south. as we go through the next couple of days. that combined with the dry air that's in place, that's going to start to drop those rain chances for us as we go through the next several days. and eventually as we head flow. so we kind of reverse that pattern. we'll have better chance of some some showers earlier in day. they will kind of work their way across the state. but because of that dry air in place, we're going to keep rain chances on the low side as we head through the weekend. but still seeing some of these scattered showe
