hundreds sherman park neighborhood -- except the jobs -- don't exist there. the state is blaming a mapping error, but residents and activists want to know, where are the jobs? political reporter theo keith took a closer look -- theo? after the recent unrest, activists say the state is trying to deceive people into believing it's hard at work in sherman park. but state officials say the activists only want an easy headline. leisa martin says the sherman park neighborhood where she needs jobs. "weve known that for quite some time." she was one of the activists that gathered tuesday at sherman and meinecke. a map on a state website shows three companies have created jobs at the intersection with state tax credits. "there are no jobs here. there are no new factories here " none of the companies actually exist in sherman park. one's downtown, one's on the far northwest side, and the third is in hartland.a spokesman for the wisconsin economic development corporation blamed it on a mapping precisely plotted, the mapping system generates an approximate location." but

our derica williams is live on sherman park overnight. it was a much calmer night on the north side. there were no major reports of property damage...this after a curfew was put in place...and the park closed at 6 last night. deputies ordered people to leave the park in the evening...and an orange fence was put up around the park's perimeter. officers were on scene in riot few confrontations with angry protesters that resulted in arrests...but overall people remained peaceful. and that leads us to our team coverage this morning. officials did address the response to the park last night. our deandra corinthios has more with angry crowds overnight. chief flynn says there were a few heated confrontations...and six arrests... an improvement ...from saturday and sunday nights. milwaukee police chief ed flynn and mayor tom barrett say the response from the faith community has played a major role in keeping the sherman park neighborhood peaceful. prayer vigils and barbecues took place ...near the bp gas station that was torched. still...milwauke

here in sherman park, colleen henry, wisn 12 news. joyce: from demanding change, to searching for answers eight , businesses were set on fire during the unrest, causing millions of dollars in damage. the burea of alcohol, tobacco , and firearms is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. wisn 12 news nick bohr is live outside one of those burned nick, anyone calling in can remain anonymous? >> that's right. the atf just left of area about an hour ago after spending all day here in vessey getting the fire at pjs foods. the owners are trying to do some cleanup work. you can see the devastation. the dumpster is full of debris. they do have a wide range of tools at their disposal, that is the federal department has called on its national response team to the sherman park neighborhood. they are looking for clues perhaps left behind for evidence linking the fires. they have a special dog here for detecting accelerants and another that detects explosives. that includes the scent from and not see it, we can run our dogs
