we had hurricane irene which was a big crisis for vermont and so many parts of the state. people lost homes and a few people lost their lives if lost a lot of wreckage. had it been healthier, maybe we could have reduced the impact. i haven't really studied to death. and then of course we have a lot of other agricultural waste going into lake champlain so there's a lot we can do but it is different because southwest you have the water going towards energy, and then a huge use of energy moving water all around. so, it's different. nevada is the driest state in the country. there is a group, there's a woman scientist with divisions of the scientist and her specialty is fish and with the land drying up, her work wasn't very exciting so she wanted to bring back more fish. she worked with a holistic grazing to build the land and of the streams as the land became restored, beavers returned and as the beavers returned, the water really accelerated the process. so, what they are able to do as they had the melting snow coming down they were able to hold the water and the fish have r
