i'm ama daetz. >> our other top stories. investigators want to know if terrorism motivated a man to attack several people at ohio state university with a butcher knife. the man is identified as 18-year-old abdul artan who rammed a car into a crowd and stabbed people before police finally killed him. >> more on this story from columbus. >> reporter: it came in as an active shooter call, shots fired on the campus of the ohio state university. >> i was walking down 15th and people started running up 15th and poem were like don't go to campus, there owes an active shooter. >> reporter: police and fire swarmed the campus in columbus after reports of a gunman on loose. the university alerted the students and staff tweeting active shooter on campus, run, hide, fight. >> there were three gunshots, and it sounded like a handgun. >> reporter: around noon a student captured the cell phone video. police standing over the suspect they shot and killed. the scene secure. it turned out not to be an active shooter b

jay i'm ama daetz. an outburst between two passengers happened on a plane at sfo about to head to pew wire toe viarta. >> reporter: most of the passengers didn't see the heated argument between the two passengers because they were settling in for the flight. but they all heard the announcement by the pilot calming everybody before they took off. this is not the announcement you hear from an airline pilot. >> as people we have the common decency to respect each other's decisions and to get along on this three hour and 13 minute flight. >> reporter: the man who shot the video said the announcement came after an argument between two passengers. >> he said at least i get to keep my guns and she said how can you say that to a brown person because she is after african-american. >> reporter: they were arguing about the election. flight attendants separated the passengers before the announcement. this is the latest in a string of outbursts since tuesday. in pittsburgh neighbors snapped a picture of this banner

. >> i'm ama daetz. since we first brought you this story at 5:00 we talked to bart and the person who helped blow the lid on this staggering amount of pay. >> lisa amin gulezian is live in san francisco with new details. >> the janitor works here in the embarcadero as well as all of the downtown stations. he logs about 114 hours a week. the researcher who discovered all of this says the janitor is not to blame, but instead bart is. tens of thousands of people ride bart. they come through the stations and leave, you name it, behind and it is up to these guys to clean it up. this janitor makes $50,000 a year. but another raked in $162,000 in overtime. his total compensation for last yary totaled more than $276,000. researchers at the nonprofit transparent california say bart's compensation packages are outrageous and irresponsible. >> there is no reason to be paying their employees so much more than what the average person gets. >> the average janitor in california makes $28,000 a year. bart spokesperson
