if you're in coatesville, feels like 23 degrees. if you're up in the poconos, feels like 16 degrees there at mt. pocono. mt. holly feels like 30 degrees. atlantic city feels like 31. wilmington feels like 29. yes, another cold night just like it was last night. tomorrow morning will be another cold start. there you see the winds, 30 miles per hour, gusting to 36 miles per hour. this is in the philadelphia area, but very similar across parts of new jersey and delaware. this is all because of this big weather system centered to our north. we have snow coming in from the great lakes as well. parts of upstate new york and the wind around it, that's really keeping our temperatures on the cold side. that wind direction and the wind speed like i just showed you, that will keep it feeling quite a bit colder through tonight. take a look for tonight, we'll be dropping to around freezing as you wake up tomorrow morning. it's going to be another cold and windy morning. these are the actual temperatures, these are not the feels-like temperatur

we still have some deafens fog in places like coatesville. farther to the north, we do have problems with fog at all. philadelphia international visibility just went up, so that's an improvement. atlantic city is still low, but delaware is doing okay and the rest of south jersey is doing okay. we're 59 degrees, we were 60 for most of the day. and parts of delaware were actually up near 70 degrees. and right at the beaches in new jersey, it's only in the 50s because of the wind off that 51-degree ocean. dennis township, fine, 56 in holegate fentner at 59 degrees. the wind direction, it's coming out of the south, and the moisture out of the east training right across philadelphia and that's where the rain is going to be concentrated this evening and just north of that line. as we go through the evening, remember that line right through philadelphia just to the north, that's where they're sieeing th heaviest rain during the evening hours. and the showers and storms are going to be coming through much of the area, maybe in the middle of the night

right now, the wind is making it feel like it's 19 in the poconos, 24 in coatesville, 29 in philadelphia, 27 in wilmington. that's pretty cold for this time of year. especially consider it was 72 degrees on saturday. the current wind gusts, still 30 to 40 miles an hour in some spots. 31 miles an hour in coatesville. it was 43 miles an hour for the wind gusts just an hour ago. it's coming down a little bit because the sun has come down. but that's still pretty strong sustained wind. 8:00, 11:00 tonight, these are the temperatures as we go through the night. it's going to clear out. and so these are the feels-like temperatures in philadelphia, 31 now, going down into the mid-20s. so yeah, it's going to be cold. it's going to be windy again tomorrow. we'll let you know how much it might warm up by thanksgiving. and if there's any rain coming in with the rest of the forecast in a few minutes. >> all right. and glenn, a quick heads up, we did a check of the airport. the faa has not issued any wind restrictions in philadelphia. there are some delays at newark and new york. make sure you watch

chester county seeing the lighter rain with some embedded more moderate showers near coatesville, even in redding here that's where you see the yellows and the greens showing you the lighter rain. it's all moving in from the west and there's that long line of showers and storms that's all part of a cold front and it will continue as we go through tonight. so we have more rain in the forecast late tonight, some of which could even be some thunderstorms. we'll be watching that for you. temperatures are mild, we're around 60 degrees for most of the area. look at dover, 68 degrees, that's with a south wind so it's really warming things up for us. as we go through tomorrow, we'll see some big changes in temperature and sky cover. the clouds and rain are going to stick around, 8:30 tonight we could see some heavy rain moving in through the lehigh valley, possibly chester county and we'll be watching the chance for some thunderstorms with that. even by midnight torrenight, it not going to be over yet. but just in time for the morning commute, tomorrow you won't have to be dealing with the fog

you see the light rain in coatesville, pottstown. that's going to stay with us through this morning. then we can see breaks in the rainfall in the afternoon before another round of rain moves in. everyone will wind up with this rain, even though it's dry right now for trenton, pemberton, philadelphia, it's not long before that rain moves in. here we go. 10:30 this morning, rain coming down but you can see how light it is. at that hour, less than 0.2 inch in philadelphia. as we go through the morning and into the afternoon and evening hours, you can see those totals add up with steady rainfall much of the day, close to half an inch for pottstown, reading and allentown. just over a third inch for doylestown. a quarter inch for south jersey and parts of delaware. by late this evening and into tomorrow morning, we will start the drying out process at 11:00 tonight, those last showers at the jersey shore. we've got a rainy day today. that's going to keep temperatures much lower than what we saw for yesterday. sunshine is back tomorrow. ch

feels like it's in the 30s across most of the area, 35 degrees in allentown, 39 in philadelphia and coatesville, 37 in mt. holly, when you combined the wind, the sustained wind with the temperature, these are the current wind gusts and we're not seeing the gusts that we saw earlier today. even a couple of hours ago, so it's all right starting to come down a little bit. we're seeing gusts 20 to 25 miles an hour. as we go through the evening hours, watch the wind die down even more, but as the temperature drops, by 9:00, it's 38 in philadelphia. doesn't take much of a wind to drop that feels like temperature down to 32. so it's going to be a cold night tonight, of course even colder in the morning and then we look for any chances for rain. and meteorologist sheena parveen has more on that. >> our next chance for rain is just in time for your thanksgiving day. we do have some showers in the forecast, hopefully that won't mess your thanksgiving plans and there's more showers in the forecast for black friday. it's not going to be a washout at all. but take your umbrella with you, as we go into thurs

it's more southwesterly in dover, but items become wednesdit's become westerly in coatesville. as we go into the afternoon, the shift in direction, that is a northwesterly wind will be flooding in this afternoon of winds of 18 to 20 miles per hour with gusts possibly as high as 30 miles per hour. so that will start bringing down the temperatures during the afternoon hours. but even with that cold front passing by, we'll still be in for lots of sunshine. no sign of any serious clouds, any showers to the north that are coming in with the cold front are going to disappear before they arrive here. so we won't get the wet weather, but we'll get the cold. it's snowing right now in canada, so we'll get that cold air heading into the weekend. tomorrow morning in the 30s, tomorrow afternoon we'll struggle to get into the low 50s for philadelphia and suburbs. 48 degrees in the lehigh valley. a warmer day after another cold morning on sunday, new jersey will warm up to 62 along with delaware and 58 degrees at the jersey shore. full 10 day on 10 when i come back in the next half hour. >>>
