neil: yeah. right now in the latest polls, average of them has her up anywhere four to five points. >> i said 370. i meant 270. neil: i know what you mean. you're a genius. you don't have to explain. one of the things he says, working hard to get this republican congressman get elected to harry reid's senate seat. that could be a way to checkmate elsewhere where republicans could lose seats. that is one they were expected to keep in the democratic column. what do you make of that? it is tight as a tick right now. >> it is very tight. joe heck is a smart guy. masto, the democrat is harry reid's hand-picked successor. she has a machine. she doesn't have half the experience mr. heck does in terms of what he has done. mr. heck is doctor who served in the gulf wars. so i mean this is a guy pretty sharp. people thought he had a chance. he looks like he is, you know when it is that close you have to give the advantage to the, party in power person because she has the, the harry reid machine behind her.

neil? neil: that could be a tad presumptuous there. >> reporter: do you think? neil: we'll watch that. as you were seeing, lauren, we're getting another couple of calls here. new mexico for hillary clinton, louisiana goes to donald trump. so again, as more states come in, we're getting an indication of just how tight an evening this is going to be. in new mexico, we can comfortably say that hillary clinton will win that state, one state that has turned lately comfortably blue. but, again, it's way too early to say about how the total numbers look. but i will give you a gauge of what they look like for the time being. again, that is without addressing what's going on in florida where it's tight, ohio where it's tight, north carolina, pennsylvania, virginia where we've yet to hear anything. but the fact that this is going on and on and on and the fact that hillary clinton appears to be in some bit of difficulty and that donald trump just could pull out a victory tonight against almost all odd

>> hi, neil. well, we haven't had much inflation and, you know, the bond yields had been very low thinking that growth was going to stay super low into the future as it has been in recent years. trump comes along, says let's have faster growth, won't that be better for americans, won't we have more jobs. so the bond yields are going up. i don't think that's a signal of anything wrong, that's a signal that we're anticipating more growth going forward. as far as inflation itself, the fed hasn't created money. i think they've actually been a drag on the economy, and so i don't think the inflation would come from them. there is the question of could you get inflation if you didn't make structural reforms, like let's say the country just blocks change, and so you can't get more production, then you would have maybe harmful inflation at some point in the future. no reason to anticipate that now. neil: when you look at what the markets are saying and, first, the violently negative reaction late election
