the investigation continues you can see police remain on the scene here in northeast philadelphia. police were holding two scenes i'll tell you about them in just a moment. this happened around 4:45 a.m., police believe the victim was sitting in his car at the intersection of saul and alcot when someone shot him in the passenger side window. he struck two cars in an effort to get away. he drove to the sunoco off oxford circle. apparently some neighbors saw him crash into the cars not realizing he was shot and followed him to the gas station to front him. he was speaking spanish, they didn't understand what he was trying to tell them. they realized he was shot. police were called. one car owner said she didn't hear the shooting, but heard the crash from the home. >> i was upstairs in my bedroom, i heard a loud crash and my telephone start ringing and neighbors started knocking on my door i came out and saw that my vehicle was hit. >> we know there was a large amount of money in the center console of the victim's vehicle. if robbery was a motive, it doesn't appear that money was take

roosevelt boulevard here at broad street, if you're in northeast philadelphia, waking up in olney and you're about to head on the boulevard here, coming from lawncrest or elkins park you've got no problems. good shot of the roads. clear out there. moving nicely. i had a little frost on my windshield this morning and you may too so be careful of that or a slick spot on the roads. it's cold out there. the river line still suspended because of a track conditions so you can't take the river line. everything else with mass transit is looking good right now and you can see on this very busy travel day you're looking at 95, the schuylkill and route 42, all showing good travel times. it's early yet so not seeing any problems out there. on the waze app right now we found someone talking about an accident on the schuylkill eastbound near conshohocken but we're checking our cameras and not seeing any delay on the schuylkill so i think you'll be moving okay. and also with waze they've kind of analyzed some of the driving times and the worst times to drive on this busy travel day before thanks giv

that chill is in the area in northeast philadelphia. it's 42 in rittenhouse and center city is 43. kensington and philadelphia international both at 41 degrees to start with. so it's going to be a chilly morning at the bus stop but you won't need your rain gear like yesterday. lots of sunshine. leave your rain gear at home. sunshine will be bright. and then we're dry for the next couple of days. look to the north. you see this line of clouds. that's a cold front that is slowly pushing our way. you see it's producing a wintry mix in canada. that cold air is going to blast into our area and that blast will bring the temperatures down for the weekend. the forecast winds, it's going to be a much windier day. 20-mile-per-hour for allentown, coatesville, wilmington, dover and atlantic city. and gusts higher than 20 miles an hour for the day. that's going to bring colder air for the weekend. especially on saturday. in the morning, 30s. afternoon, 40s and low 50s. about 10 degrees colder than today but after a cold morning on sunday. a nice warmup. we'll be heading back into mild air. much
