today there was a rainbow and a few light showers. all that activity has pushed away from the city now. our high today is seasonal, the coolest day this week at 62, 71 in lamar, 58 in carbondale. 45 degrees at dia currently, air pressure. around the area it's been kind of quiet. so i like to do a little feature called weather around the globe when the weather is quiet. everybody is talking about cleveland and the world series, so let's go there first, shall we? a record high temperature today ahead of a line of showers which created a rain delay for a time. in the cleveland area a record high today of 78 degrees. down the road in illinois a funnel cloud, 2-inch hail, morton, mapleton down with severe weather still going on tonight. seattle looking more like the season and feeling like it, too but right here in denver, colorado, around 7:45 this morning in the southern metro area a few sprinkles on the windshield as well. in the high country the beautiful scenes of 2 to 4 inches of overnight snow. they'll take every flake they can get.
