upfully the northern spots -- especially in the northern zephyrhills. and 55 down towards bradenton and sarasota. this is life on the opposite of last night's cold front. these temperatures, 5 to 10, even better than 10 degrees cooler right now than this time yesterday after the cooler, drier air started filtering in behind the front. and all that red and orange, very dry air above us. dew point values in the 20s and 30s. very dry air. just getting brisk with average heading into this afternoon. staying breezy too. a lot of sunshine for the afternoon. we're only expecting high temperatures in the upper 60s, about 10 degrees below average for this time of the year. these low temperatures tonight, even cooler than this morning. dropping down into the upper 30s across northern spot where is we could see some areas of frost. tampa drops down to around 45. last time we have been 50 or lower in tampa. all the way back at the end of march. caribbean, 70% chance in the next five days for a tropical depression to develop. so chilly but tropical season continues.

temperatures in the meantime warming quickly getting into the low 80s, 79 now at brooksville, zephyrhills and tampa already 73 and clearwater. those winds coming in out of the east southeast now averaging around 10 to 15 but we have seen some occasional gusts at or exceeding 20 miles per hour. it's going to be a breezy afternoon for us here. we're sitting ahead of this new storm system bringing much needed rain thunderstorms. in fact, an enhanced risk of severe weather damaging winds and tornadoes possible across portions of the deep south for today. very humid for us this afternoon again an isolated shower cannot be ruled out with this deep southeasterly flow developing here and it's going to stay humid and muggy for us over the next couple days. you'll notice it during the mornings and afternoons as well. looks like this, temperatures low 80s, morning lows into the 60s and we'll be looking at the 10 to 20% rather as we head towards your thursday. that will be with that cold front sliding in but doesn't get too much cooler behind it. back to average temperature wise by friday. >> all rig
