the nifty that i'm expressing is that there is a bipartisan coalition of americans that range from grover norquist to newt gingrich, koch brothers, heritage foundation, the american enterprise institute. these are all folks on the right who believe we need to reform our criminal justice law, joining with people like me who are democrats and independents, christian evangelicals who know what the bible says about people in prison. all these coalitions from libertarians to christian evangelicals, even some vegetarians, we all are coming to a national consensus on criminal justice reform. and this body, you have got patrick leahy, dick durbin partnering with the chairman of the judiciary committee, chuck grassley. mike lee. the senator from texas, cornyn, who all came together to put together a bill that was talked about by these law enforcement officers, a bill that would help us to bring justice to our criminal justice system, a bill that would help us reduce the level of incarceration but empower people to be more successful. and what's astonishing about this is this wasn't a bill showing
