this is video from the oakland hills. sheppard canyon road was shut down because 100-foot tree came crashing down blocking both directions of the roadway. the tree came down first and then a driver crashed into that tree this is a round 6:00 this morning. the driver was not hurt. he said that the conditions this morning were dark, rainy with very poor visibility and he just didn't see that tree in the road until it was to late. also in the east bay residents in pleasant hill had to rush to put out extra sandbags ace creek -- this is near sequoia over flowed. there were four to five inches of standing water. storm drain was overwhelmed and over flowing. the water receded in that neighborhood by about 9:30 but left a very muddy mess behind. a muddy mess is what crews with the public works crews are working on right now. again crow canyon road has minor flooding and mudslides and so they have brought in dump trucks and front loaders to clean all of that up. superintendent explained while it may not look very impressive in te
