meteorologist rob mayeda has a look at the conditions and if that will continue, rob. >> we've been seeing rapidly changing conditions around the north bay. 68 degreeses and partly cloudy skies and a different story back on the radar. mid-afternoon today, those clouds building up in the north bay dropping some hail at times, frequent lightning there to the north of napa but things certainly quieting down now on the radar view. also to the south, san jose around the santa cruz mountains watching showers, cool finish to the weekend. only 64 degrees. and you could see if you see a few showers in between san jose and morgan hill, the briefly intense shower fire up around 4:00 but this now starting to shut down as the sun sets. we'll lose a lot of the solar energy through the cooler air aloft which helped to fire out the stronger showers but the workweek will begin with cool and breezy conditions. another chance of showers, once more as we head into tuesday and after that everything changes. as we see the temperatures soar from the 60s and possibly into the 90s later this week. we'll have a loo

rob mayeda tracking the heat and with the heat comes fire danger. >> i'll be watching out for that on tuesday and wednesday. right now not too bad outside. 73 degrees and comfortable in tiburon as we have a late day sea breeze. and san francisco has now dropped to 68. wind switching back on shore and bringing in cooler air except without the fog we see across the golden gate bridge. 76 in san jose. from here we see temperatures climb tomorrow. more so towards tuesday and wednesday. but in the meantime, late day sea breeze, technically cooling things off just slightly here as we wrap up the weekend from oakland to hayward and along the coast. but the forecast through mid-week will boost our valley temperatures close to 90 degrees and wednesday we'll likely see heat viz advisory -- advisories for the bay area, and could reach the 80s. and later on much cooler weather and a chance of showers and possibly sierra snow all in the span of the next seven days. we'll let you know how long those hot temperatures will stick around and the big changes possibly ahead by next weekend and in a forec

meteorologist rob mayeda here to tell us where it was. >> isolated showers, they were very isolated. right now, san francisco, no showers there, cool though, 59 degrees. off to the east in walnut creek, 63 degrees, comfortably dry and cool at healdsburg. right now, 67 degrees, and here's a look back at the last three hours, north of napa, you saw hail and lightning there in the hilltops of napa county. here are a few more showers north of brentwood. and one more stray shower around the santa cruz mountains, you can see a few showers near the summit at 65 degrees. so we're seeing temperatures here cool to finish the weekend and a cold upper level system. that cool air aloft 2009combine with the heating of the day gives us isolated showers and thunder. more hours will be possible especially tuesday, but get ready for a rollercoaster ride of temperatures. we could go from low 60s to 90s in just three days. we'll show you the changes and the rapid changes at that, in your seven-day forecast coming up in about 12 minutes. >> rollercoaster continues. >> remember you can track the weather w
