amy hollyfield is live in san rafael to explain. good morning, amy. >> reporter: i just spoke with a smart train official who told me the first train left santa rosa at 5:49 this morning without any problem, so it's expected to roll into san rafael here at 7:00 this morning, but don't expect to hop onboard, this is only a test. she said they are running these testses as if it was actual service, and they are stopping at each station and opening the doors. there will be 17 trains in each direction on weekdays, and it connects from sonoma county to marin county and that trip should take about 60 minutes, and there's a quiet zone so the train won't blow its horn at crossings in some areas unless there's an emergency. it's important to be aware around the tracks. they have not set an exact date of the launch of this service saying it will only start in late spring. these tests will go on for the next few weeks. >>> we have new details that francisco uber is accused of stealing trade secrets. a judge referred the case to prosecutors, and

san jose 49. napa 48. san rafael 48. seasonably chilly. there's the wind off the ocean a northwest wind so it's especially going to be breezy in san mateo county the city of san francisco and also down towards santa cruz this exposed right to the wind coming in from the water so we're staying windy and the ocean breeze will keep temperatures cool for saturday. let's talk about why it's windy. that huge ridge of high pressure that gave us sunshine and warm weather is now over new mexico and arizona and four corners. it is still very strong. there's a big area of low pressure that helped cause 2500 lightning strikes in western washington yesterday. it is strong. right in between, where we long island the bay area. so the difference in pressure from that high to the low is really cranking up the winds and will once again tomorrow. now, the low is going to swing by to our south tomorrow. so tomorrow morning will actually be cloudier in the southern sections of our viewing area and a tiny chance of a north bay hills shower tomorrow afternoon. w
