>> well, chris, a couple things. i think this hearing today has the potential to advance this investigation and potentially make our create some more problems for the president if sessions doesn't handle himself in exactly the right sort of way. one question i think is going to be around that potential third meeting between the russian ambassador and jeff sessions this is a meeting that the department of justice denied has happened, or denied happened, this would have been a third meeting in addition to the two that were initially not disclosed on his form, and nbc news has reported that there is intelligence that suggests this third also undisclosed meeting took place, but again, they have disputed that. the department of justice. so look for senators to press sessions to say on the record and on camera his version of events. secondly, i think there's going to be a lot of focus on jim comey's firing and what jeff sessions' role was in that firing. the president has said he believes or fired jim comey over the russia
