that is where a mural of former mayor frank rizzo has become the target of vandals. randy gyllenhaal is live at 9th and washington with more on what happened there. >> reporter: criminal vandals striking again, targeting another frank rizzo memorial, this time the mural in south philadelphia. i just finished speaking with police, they tell me the vandals this time had mason jars full of white paint, it's 134rsplatterel over the ground. an officer was on patrol when he came in this parking lot where the frank rizzo mural is located. he found a number of kids with spray paint and other sorts of paint tagging this wall. there is anti-police graffiti, offensive messages as well as paint on rizzo's face plus rip david, that is likely a reference to david jones who was shot and killed by police earlier this year. much of the attention recently has been on the frank wrrizzo statue. yesterday vandals actually hit that statue, as well, spray painting the words black power on to the statue. one person was arrested in that case. in terms of this case here, this new one overnigh
