i'm if president trump is right and talk is not the answer for north korea woodies. it really needs to be a combination of different instruments of national power. operating in the integrated comprehensive policy. in a way the president stating the obvious we've had eight international agreements with north korea all have failed we've had. twenty five years of attempts at diplomacy with many different. iterations. and all of those have failed so we do need to ensure we have a greater pressure on north korea. a fuller enforcement of u. s. law which we've been pulling our punches on. a coordination with our allies to the strong military to deter defend it if necessary defeat any threat. that but we do need to leave the door open for diplomacy case. as the case with the iran nuclear deal we can use pressure to get north korea to the table in a meaningful way. how confusing is the message coming from washington right now because you have the president talking fire and fury? and then his defense secretary and to secretary of state talking about diplomacy and and talks. we
