a jewelry case is targeted by robbers at costco in hayward. it happened just after 10-am yesterday on hesperian boulevard. police say three men used a tool to break into the jewelry case and stole several items. no weapons were used. but officers say the robbers were violent. a security guard got into a physical confrontation trying to stop them from getting away. the three male robbers were last seen driving in a grey, four- door toyota corolla.
