from allentown to lancaster this stretch looking at more steady dense fog that has formed down at the surface. this happens when the dew point, which is measurement of some of the moisture in the air, is the same as the temperature at the ground. so what happens is when sunrise and ground temperature starts to warm up, that will burn off the fog. but until then we have some fog out there. same deal along the shore and into parts of south jersey to dover, that quarter of a mile, that's really when the thick fog makes it difficult to drive. you have to use the fog lights and if possible like i said hold off a few hours and be much better off. here's radar and satellite map, there's no rain to track out there. today we may see some showers roll through. look at hour by hour model. this is at 2:00 p.m. in the afternoon. we start to see more scattered cloud coverage and just some isolated showers possible. i think this model might be going a little too aggressive, but i'm not going to rule out a few spot showers. but what this does mean is that not everyone is going to see a little shower
