this is bennett valley, late this afternoon. as we drove through, we found hot spots along side the road. this is one of several hot spots we've seen, as the wind whips up, and moves toward the east. these fires are encroaching on bennett valley road. parts of bennett valley have already been wiped out. now authorities are worried, the fire will come back through. sonoma county has expanded their evacuation. >> i'll push it out a little bit for safety reasons, but this is a big event. we're not going to be putting people back in houses until we can solve that problem. >> reporter: i mentioned the wind is picking up right now. there is major concern as for later this evening, and into the night, because those winds, we understand, will be more unpredictable. that's why we're starting to see these advisory evacuations. not sure what's going to happen here, so authorities want to make sure they do what they can, to keep people out of harm's way. for now, i'm joe vasquez, kpix 5. >>> thanks very much, joe. that word, unpredictable.
