this is not coming from nate. this is a cold front pushing into the area a thunderstorm popped up to the north. a chance we'll see isolated thunderstorms today and a chance we'll see some tomorrow as the remnants of nate move our way. nate is still a tropical storm no longer a hurricane that will weaken considerably. look at all that moisture and that's the moisture that will be coming at us during the day tomorrow. looks likely to move in in the morning and the afternoon we can see it move out of the area. the winds are down to 70 miles an hour. still a strong storm and moving to the north/northeast at 23 miles an hour. it's a very fast moving storm. it's 234not going to take that long. you see the showers moving in, coming in with the cold front. showers taper off as we go into the afternoon. 1:00 this afternoon some scattered showers, mainly just cloudy and warm with temperatures in the low 80s. you can see a few drops here and there. an isolated shower is possible. a chance of some thunderstorms developing as

but nate nate will continue to move tour the louisiana coastline. it look like it will make landfall if not extreme eastern outer islands there those barrier islands of louisiana if it misses that, it some go a shore right around bill lock see mississippi where ironically enough is where some of the hurricane hunter aircraft are stationed. it doesn't look like it's going to be a super strong hurricane, but it is getting stronger. it's forecast to be annie 90 per hour hurricane which would stay keep it at a category one. but i think it probably will strengthen a little bit more than that if it continues to strengthening cycle. very dangerous storm. hurricane force winds right now 35 miles in always directions from the center and it does appear to be trying to get a little bit more organized. it will bring us rain starting tomorrow, tomorrow night and into monday as well. so we'll talk more about the rain potential forecast as well here in just a few minutes. but again another week, this is the third weekend we've had a landfalling hurricane in the us
